Our experience was very good in terms of management, friendliness and helpfulness of our guide (Manoj) and driver (Anil) and all the accommodations. We drove from Rishikesh to Govind ghat and took a local taxi to stay in Priya homestay in Pulna village. Excellent room and very close to start of the trek. Stayed in Priya hotel in Ghangariya. Good room. Excellent food. Went to Badrinath and stayed in Mana after ending the trek (excellent quaint little village near the India-China border) before driving back to Rishikesh. Our guide Manoj was young, friendly and very helpful (although a bit shy but opened up more in the latter part of the trek). He helped us with food, trekking gears like poles, ponchos etc. whenever needed. He and Anil were also open to our small requests to stop at scenic spots along the drive. Good song recommendations as well. Thanks all the team at Mapping the Himalayas for making our trek experience enjoyable! But it was the emotional care of the group,my sister's encouragement, made me believe myself that I can. Finally it was successful and I entered into heaven which I never dreamt I will. No words to speak. It has to be experienced. In my words I can say that I went to heaven and came back live not after death but when I am alive.Posted on Trinh NhungTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
