1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Mapping The Himalayas website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you disagree with these terms, please refrain from using our website.
2. Intellectual Property
The texts, logos, and images on this website are the property of Mapping The Himalayas and are protected by Indian and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use of any content on this website is strictly prohibited.
3. Booking and Payment
a. Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. Mapping The Himalayas reserves the right to accept or reject any booking request.
All bookings must be made through our website, our online travel partners or at our Mapping The Himalayas office. Once the tour is finalized and confirmed, we will book the accommodation & services (Land only), and the confirmation status will be sent to the traveler.
b. Payment: Payments must be made as stipulated on the website for each service. Payments can be made through approved payment methods listed on the website.
For the services requiring a deposit, the required deposit should be paid at the moment of the booking. For treks, the balance payment should be paid 1 day before the departure.
c. Additional services: Optional tours and additional services shall be provided to the best of our knowledge at additional cost and on a direct payment basis. Mapping The Himalayas is not liable for providing additional activities and services apart from the ones offered in the itinerary on booking. In the case of the customer being unsatisfied with the additional services bought, Mapping The Himalayas shall not be held responsible.
4. Liability and Waiver
Mapping The Himalayas is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused during the tour. Participants must sign a waiver before joining any tour, acknowledging the inherent risks associated with outdoor activities. Insurance arrangements must be made by foreign tour operators/guests themselves before departing from their own country.
In the unlikely event of a customer being dissatisfied with overall services, it should be brought to the notice of the company immediately during the traveling period for rectification. No post-tour complaints will be considered.
All the packages are sold under the business management of Mapping The Himalayas, and the company reserves the right to cancel or alter any package condition if required. Neither Mapping The Himalayas nor the participating suppliers/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses due to loss, delay, or damage caused by accidents or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action, illness, bad weather, strikes/ riots, war, civil disturbances, fire, floods, roadblock, acts of gods, acts of government or any authorities, etc. Under no circumstances should we be held responsible for such unforeseen conditions.
5. Privacy Policy
Our privacy policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our website, you consent to the terms of our privacy policy.
6. Governing Law
The laws of India govern these terms and conditions. Any disputes arising from using this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court in Rishikesh, India.

Mapping The Himalayas reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Users are responsible for regularly reviewing the terms to stay informed of any changes.
