Cancellation & Refund Policy
A. Cancellation by the Customer
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (via email or official communication channels). Where applicable, refunds will be processed within 15 business days, net of any bank or transaction charges.
Standard Trips
- 7 days or more before departure: Eligible for a full refund.
- 3 to 6 days before departure: Eligible for a 70% refund.
- Less than 3 days before departure: No refund will be issued.
Kunjapuri Hike
- Up to 12 hours before departure: Eligible for a full refund.
- Less than 12 hours before departure: No refund will be provided.
B. Cancellation by Mapping The Himalayas
Mapping The Himalayas reserves the right to cancel any trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions, insufficient participation, or other operational issues). In such cases, the following options will be provided:
- A full refund, or
- An option to reschedule or choose an alternative trip of equal value.
Refund timelines and percentages will align with the same structure applied to customer-initiated cancellations, including for the Kunjapuri Hike.
