WHAT IS THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL OF KEDARTAL TREK

Kedartal also known as the Shiva’s lake is a glacial lake, nestled in the Indian Himalayas, renowned for its stunning emerald color beauty. Situated at an altitude of over 16,000 feet (4,800 meters), it offers a mesmerizing reflection of the surrounding snow-capped peaks like Mt Thalay sagar, Meru & Brighupanth. The journey unveils diverse landscapes including dense Himalayan birch forests, rocky paths, and possibly snowfields. Trekkers are rewarded with breathtaking vistas and a serene experience upon reaching the azure waters of Kedartal. The base of Kedartal Trek is from Gangotri, another trek after Gangotri gaumukh tapovan trek to start from there.
